They tried to convince me to pay $2500 to replace my brake pads and routers! I ended up finding the parts and service for roughly $750. They gave me that quote with "the cheapest parts they could find". I have no idea where they get their numbers from, but I have a feeling they gave me this quote because I'm a female and they thought I wouldn't question them.
Thank you for the review Shelby. I didn't try to convince you of anything, what I did was present to you the measurements of your brake pads and explained why the replacement of the calipers was necessary along with the pads and rotors due to the age and mileage of the car along with the differential in wear between the inside brake pad and the outside pad - the same way it would be presented to a male customer. While we respect that not all shops have the same opinions or goals for their customers - ours is to fix things right the first time while providing the best value possible for the money you invest in your vehicle. The $2500 estimate included all 4 brake calipers and a fluid flush to ensure that you could maximize the life of your brakes. For us to replace just your brake pads and rotors on both axles would have been $1000 with the most "affordable" quality option available. Please do not hesitate to call me if you need any further clarification. Marty Anderson Service Manager (403)239-8772
