VEHICLE Inspections

Minit-Tune & Brake is licensed to perform Alberta safety inspections. These inspections are required for vehicles last registered in another jurisdiction or declared salvage by an insurance company. A licensed technician will ensure your vehicle meets Alberta's safety criteria before it can be re-registered.

Pre-Purchase Inspections

Before buying a used vehicle, mitigate your risk with a pre-purchase inspection at Minit-Tune & Brake. Out of Province (OOP) Inspections

Our certified technicians, licensed by Alberta Transportation’s Vehicle Inspection Program, conduct thorough safety and mechanical fitness assessments. This inspection covers all major components, including fuel and exhaust systems, electrical, engine controls, powertrain, steering, suspension, braking systems, wiring and lights, tires, glass, wipers, and defrosters. Vehicles like restored antiques, classics, homebuilt, modified, or street rods must undergo this inspection if not previously registered in Alberta.
